The Puretec DP Series 4.5" x 20" is a dual-purpose long-life cartridge that combines sediment filtration with chlorine, taste and odour reduction in a single cartridge. Constructed from carbon-impregnated non-cellulose pleated polyester media, the pleated design maximises surface area for high dirt-loading capacity while maintaining minimal pressure drop — delivering extended service life compared to standard cartridges.

Unlike cellulose cartridges, the DP Series is resistant to bacterial attack, making it suitable for non-chlorinated water applications including rainwater tanks, bores, reverse osmosis polishing filters and drinking water systems.
